Sales Application Engineer | Oswego, IL
The Sales Applications Engineer will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their needs while being able to recommend tailored engineering solutions. The Sales Applications Engineer role will also provide support throughout the entire sales process by creating proposals, collaborating with engineering/manufacturing teams, and ensuring solutions meet performance standards after installation

Description
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, showcasing your technical knowledge and professionalism
- Interpret customer requirements and guide internal teams to create effective, application-specific solutions
- Collaborate closely with design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Attend customer site visits, trade shows, and industry events to build strong relationships and identify new opportunities
- Help uncover emerging markets and business development prospects
- Ensure CRM systems are kept up to date for effective reporting and opportunity tracking
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in technical sales or applications engineering withiin a manufacturing space
- Experience with MIE Trak ERP or Microsoft Dynamics CRM is advantageous, other ERP/CRM experience required
- Willing to travel to customer sites and industry events and tradeshows
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated personality
Job Offer
- Base salary ranging from $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
- Discretionary bonus paid out annually
- 3 weeks total time off to start
- 4% 401k match
