Quality Control Manager
A leading manufacturer of precision-engineered aluminium products is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance its quality assurance and control systems. This role is critical to maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in product performance and reliability across diverse industrial applications.
Client Details
My client is leading manufacturer of alloy components that helps service the manufacturing, building materials, and metal fabrication industries. They offer fully integrated production from raw material selection to final polishing and their in-house capabilities allow rapid response to customer needs. Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements
- Lead internal and external audits, including corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on quality metrics to senior leadership
- Manage document control processes and ensure proper training of staff on quality procedures
- Interface with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction
- Supervise quality assurance personnel and foster a culture of accountability and excellence

Profile
The successful Quality Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within manufacturing (Direct management experience not required)
- Experience working within precision metals
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, statistical process control, and quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with carbide or metalworking industries is a plus
