We're partnered with a well‑respected Nashville‑based general contractor seeking an experienced Travelling Superintendent to oversee ground‑up commercial projects across the Southeast and Midwest. This individual will manage all onsite construction activities, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards on out‑of‑town assignments.

Our client is a reputable, established GC headquartered in Nashville with a strong presence across the region. They specialize in a variety of commercial construction projects and are known for their strong subcontractor relationships, high‑quality project delivery, and people‑focused culture. They maintain a healthy backlog and offer stable, consistent work for travelling field leaders.Description
- Oversee all onsite activities for ground‑up commercial projects
- Manage day‑to‑day field operations, subcontractor coordination, and project scheduling
- Enforce jobsite safety, quality standards, and company procedures
- Lead onsite meetings and maintain communication with Project Managers and ownership teams
- Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and progress tracking
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to keep work on schedule
- Represent the GC professionally while traveling to various project sites
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Experience with ground‑up projects required
- Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, and safety protocols
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain tight construction timelines
- Proficiency with field management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, etc., preferred)
- Must be open to regular travel for multi‑month project assignments
