Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing complex accounting tasks, and supporting regulatory compliance and reporting. This individual will be a key contributor to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and will help drive efficiencies and improvements in financial operations.

We are committed to excellence, transparency, and long-term client success. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
Description
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and regulatory examinations.
- Maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring accurate coding and classification of transactions.
- Assist in preparation of regulatory filings (e.g., SEC, FINRA, SOX compliance), as required.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams to ensure accurate reporting and alignment across functions.
- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support implementation of new accounting standards, systems, or tools.
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
- CPA certification required (or in progress).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry (e.g., banking, asset management, private equity, or insurance).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP; knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
