Description
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will help in the day-to-day management of multiple Commercial TI projects from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include coordinating consultants and subcontractors, tracking schedules and budgets, managing RFIs and submittals, and supporting on-site execution to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience supporting Commercial TI projects (office, creative office, retail, or similar)
- Project history within Los Angeles and/or Orange County is required
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, schedules, and cost controls
- Ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams
- Proficiency with common construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience in construction project management, particularly tenant improvement (TI) projects.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various project elements effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address project challenges.
