Legal Secretary
This Legal Secretary role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to fiduciary accountants, managing client communications, coordinating meetings, and handling legal documentation with precision. Description
- Administrative support to four fiduciary accountants, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing necessary documentation
- Handle client communications, schedule meetings, and ensure all signing and notarization needs are met
- Transcribe, draft, proofread, and manage delivery of legal correspondence and client documents via FedEx, UPS, or USPS
- Maintain accurate filing systems and contact databases for clients and referrals
- Assist with monthly billing processes and contribute to special projects as assigned
- Offer reception coverage when needed and be available for overtime work upon request
Profile
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
- Manages time efficiently and excels at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software platforms, with a willingness to learn new tools
- Familiar with Florida probate courts and judicial procedures
- Maintains professionalism, discretion, and a client-focused attitude
- Adapts easily to changing priorities and takes initiative on special projects
- Reliable and flexible, with availability to work overtime and provide reception coverage when needed
