This role will allow you to manage a team of 2-3 project accountants, review and approve their work and lead conversations with large projects. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in managing a team and gain guidance from the leadership on how to best establish a growing team.

Client Details

Our client is a general contractor that has grown to $300M and is not slowing down! The team is looking to add a strong Project Accounting Manager to their leadership team and continue to build out their accounting function. With projects in industrial and hospitality, you will gain insight on all the different industries and lead a team.

This role will allow you to manage a team of 2-3 project accountants, review and approve their work and lead conversations with large projects. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in managing a team and gain guidance from the leadership on how to best establish a growing team.

Description

• Manage a team of 2-3 project accountants
• Own your own projects and complete the accounting
• Partner with the project managers on budgeting for projects
• AIA billing, G702/702 forms
• Lien waivers, change orders, subcontractor payouts

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of construction accounting experience
• Management experience required
• Experience working within the general contracting preferred
