Manufacturing Engineer | Welding
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing & developing welding processes and ensuring the highest quality standards in my client's AS9100 compliant facility. Client Details
My client is a leading, family-owned manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic products serving companies primarily in the aerospace/defense industries. Due to impressive growth, they will be investing heavily in increasing their welding capabilities. Because of this, they are seeking an Engineer with a foundation in MIG/TIG/Resistance welding to join their team!
Description
- Develop and implement efficient welding manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and production activities.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all manufacturing operations.
- Support new product development by designing and refining production methods.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and updated procedures.
Profile
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- 2+years' experience in manufacturing, with a focus on welding operations.
- Proficiency in TIG, Resistance, Laser welding preferred.
- Proficiency in process optimization and production methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with industrial/manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements - knowledge of AS9100 QMS is desired.
Job Offer
- Base salary $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience level.
- Annual bonus incentives based on company performance.
