Quality Engineer | Automotive Manufacturing
Our client, an innovative forging manufacturer serving the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience with IATF 16949, PPAP, and customer complaint management.

Description
- Help manage and develop the QMS (ISO9001 & IATF16949)
- Speak directly with customers, handling complaints and corrective actions
- Work through root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5Why
- Collaborate with inspectors on PPAPs and finished good inspections
- Drive continuous improvement projects cross-functionally with production team
- Daily quality tasks as assigned
Profile
- 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a metal fabrication or automotive setting
- Strong understanding of an ISO9001 QMS and associated compliance - IATF experience a plus
- Proven experience handling and reducing the amount of customer complaints
- Experience with Corrective and Preventative Actions
- Microsoft office suite experience
- Core tool and problem solving experience - PPAP/APQP, 8D, 5Why, CAPA, RCA, Etc.
