Assistant Project Manager - Light Industrial
Our client is a premier general contractor that focuses in light industrial, automotive, data centers, warehouses and tenant interior projects located in Rosemont. They are looking for an Assistant Project Manager that wants a long term career path and work with a collaborative & culture-oriented company.

One of Chicagoland's most established general contractors! This construction company is located in Rosemont and has a track record for excellence. Many of the projects they do are light industrial, automotive, data centers, warehouses, and commercial projects. Culture is very important to this client as they are a tight knit community. Competitive base slary + bonus opportunities! They are looking to grow their team due to the pipeline of projects through 2027. There is no travel involved in this role.
Description
- Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals
- Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed
- Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
- Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable
- Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
- Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
- Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution
Profile
- 3+ years of construction or project management experience in the general contracting space
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills; candidate should be energized by working with different teams, both internal and external
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams concurrently. Comfortable learning new software platforms to track and organize project information
- Technical background with understanding of building engineering and commercial projects; prior experience in commercial projects
Job Offer
- A competitive base salary between $95,000-$110,000 (Depending on Experience)
