Fixed Income Surveillance Temp

The Fixed Income Surveillance Temp will support the legal department in monitoring and analyzing fixed-income trading activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This temporary role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of fixed-income products within the business services industry.

Client Details

Our client is a global financial services firm providing institutional clients with services across fixed income, equities, investment banking, and capital markets. The firm is located in Midtown NYC and operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

Description

• Monitor fixed-income trading activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Analyze trade data and reports to identify potential risks or violations.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve compliance issues.
• Provide support for internal audits and regulatory examinations as needed.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting fixed-income products.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of surveillance processes and tools.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of surveillance activities and findings.
