PM/Estimator/Senior - Affordable Housing

The Affordable Housing PM/Estimator will be responsible for managing and estimating large affordable housing projects in Section 8 and LIHTC, projects up to $450 million, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires expertise in property management and estimating, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Description

• Lead sizable affordable housing projects, preservation, tenant in place and some ground up
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for property projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee all aspects of project execution, including budgeting, procurement, and contractor management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Provide regular updates and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Profile

A successful PM/Estimator should have:

• LIHTC and or Section 8 experience is essential to this role.
• Preservation or tenant in place affordable housing projects is essential to this role.
• Strong knowledge of project management and estimation practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
