Civil Construction Project Engineer
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering or construction management and a passion for delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating daily construction activities
Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
Prepare RFIs, submittals, and change order requests
Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Maintain and update project documentation, including logs and reports
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and promote safety
Support procurement of materials, equipment, and services
Collaborate with field and office teams to resolve technical and logistical issues
Profile
A Successful Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
1-3 years of experience in civil construction (internships and co-ops considered)
Proficiency in construction software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, etc.)
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
EIT certification or progress toward PE license
Experience with DOT or municipal infrastructure projects
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
