Packaging Development Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Packaging Development Project Manager to lead cross-functional packaging initiatives from concept through commercialization. This role will be responsible for managing the development and execution of innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions across multiple product lines in a global environment.

Description
Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end packaging development projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, procurement, design, engineering, operations, and external suppliers to align on objectives and deliverables.
Technical Development: Drive packaging innovation and improvement efforts, overseeing prototyping, testing, and validation in line with regulatory, sustainability, and brand requirements.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance speed-to-market and reduce development costs.
Supplier Management: Liaise with global packaging suppliers to source materials, evaluate capabilities, and ensure compliance with technical specifications and sustainability goals.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all documentation, specifications, and test results are properly maintained and meet internal and external compliance standards.
Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks throughout the development lifecycle to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in packaging development, preferably within the consumer goods or cosmetics industry.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Experience working with global suppliers and navigating regulatory and environmental standards.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, SAP, Adobe Illustrator, and packaging-specific software is a plus.
