Controls Engineer - Industrial - Merrimack, NH
The Controls Engineer leads full-cycle electrical and controls engineering for custom controlled atmosphere systems. Responsibilities include design, programming, and troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery of high-performance solutions. Description
As a Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, programming, and testing electrical systems for custom industrial equipment. You'll collaborate with mechanical engineers, manage component selection, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Design and layout of control cabinets and instrumentation systems.
- Programming and configuration of PLCs and HMIs.
- Prepare schematics, BOMs, manuals, and 'as-built' documentation.
Profile
The Controls Engineer will bring a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with industrial automation systems. You're comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PLC/HMI programming.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and troubleshooting complex systems.
