Junior Estimator

An established General Contractor in Miami is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects, assisting in preparing bids and developing accurate cost proposals.

Description

• Assist in preparing competitive bids and proposals for commercial construction projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.

• Work closely with project managers and senior estimators to ensure alignment on budgets and project scopes.

• Maintain cost databases and historical project records to support future estimates.

Profile

• 2+ years of experience as an estimator, preferably with a General Contractor.

• Proven ability to put together bids on commercial construction projects.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Team-oriented, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary in the range of $75,000 - $90,000, based on experience.
