Mid-Level Corporate Associate
A mid‑level corporate associate role supporting start‑ups, emerging growth companies, and venture capital clients. The position offers hands‑on involvement in M&A, venture financings, and growth equity transactions with daily client interaction.

Our client is a leading corporate law firm focused on representing innovative companies and venture capital funds. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, deep expertise in the start‑up ecosystem, and close client relationships. Lawyers work directly with founders, investors, and boards on high‑growth, market‑shaping transactions.
Description
- Draft and negotiate corporate transaction documents, including purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate restructuring matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
- Conduct due diligence and prepare related reports for corporate transactions.
- Provide ongoing support to clients regarding corporate governance and business operations.
- Assist in the formation and structuring of entities, including startups and joint ventures.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Stay updated on developments in corporate law to provide informed advice to clients.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, and governance.
- Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.
