They maintain a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, with developments across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Currently, they have a large-scale project on the horizon in the Charlottesville area and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - Charlottesville, VA will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical work, ensuring compliance with timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
- Overseeing electrical contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations.
- Monitoring electrical costs, assisting with budget management, and preparing cost estimates to maintain budget integrity.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical tasks.
- Ensuring that all electrical work complies with codes, standards, and project specifications, conducting quality checks as necessary.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues, and ensuring resource availability.
- Maintaining detailed records of RFIs, change orders, submittals, and daily reports.
- Visiting project sites to monitor electrical work, troubleshooting issues, and supporting on-site teams.
- Providing updates to clients and stakeholders on electrical progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily - Charlottesville, VA will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in construction.
- Experience with base building projects.
- Preferred background in multifamily construction.
- Degree in a construction-related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
