Superintendent

The Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a driven professional with experience in managing small to mid-sized commercial projects.

The hiring company is a small to mid-sized organization that specializes in commercial construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M, with occasional larger multifamily developments. The company has a strong presence in the industry.

Description

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations, promoting a secure work environment.
• Ensure efficient use of materials and resources to control costs and minimize waste.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Communicate progress updates to project managers and clients, maintaining transparency and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and change orders.
• Lead project closeout activities, ensuring all punch list items are completed to satisfaction.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

• Familiarity with scheduling software and other construction management tools.
• A commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards on-site.
