Our client is a well‑established construction management firm specializing in life sciences, pharmaceutical facilities, and technically complex environments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations across several small construction projects on a pharmaceutical campus.
- Coordinate scheduling, manpower, and site logistics while maintaining clear communication with project managers and stakeholders.
- Oversee and direct subcontractors-including union carpenters when applicable-ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and enforce jobsite safety protocols, site cleanliness, and compliance with cGMP and pharma‑facility guidelines.
- Conduct daily reports, track progress, address field issues proactively, and support short‑interval planning.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, facilities, and campus teams to ensure minimal disruption in active GMP operations.
Profile
The Successful Candidate
- Brings prior experience working within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments-ideally on a campus with multiple ongoing projects.
- Comfortable managing several small projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in field safety, scheduling, mechanical/electrical coordination, and union trades (carpenter wage familiarity preferred).
- Organized, proactive, safety‑oriented, and adaptable to fast‑paced, regulated environments.
