Estimator - Commerical Construction

We are seeking a Mid-Level Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team. You'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects. Description

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
• Participate in value engineering and risk assessment discussions.
• Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.

Profile

• 8+ years of experience in construction estimating, ground up experience preferred
• Preferably have a degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Hands-on experience Estimating projects based off blue prints
• Well versed in Procore, Bluebeam and other estimating software's
• Excellent organization skills
• Understanding of Construction Systems
• OSHA certification is preferred
