Estimator - Commerical Construction
We are seeking a Mid-Level Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team. You'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects. Description
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
- Participate in value engineering and risk assessment discussions.
- Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.
Profile
- 8+ years of experience in construction estimating, ground up experience preferred
- Preferably have a degree in Construction Management or a related field
- Hands-on experience Estimating projects based off blue prints
- Well versed in Procore, Bluebeam and other estimating software's
- Excellent organization skills
- Understanding of Construction Systems
- OSHA certification is preferred
