This Assistant Project Manager role supports the delivery of complex healthcare construction projects for a leading regional builder. You'll coordinate field operations, manage subcontractors, and help drive schedule, safety, and quality across fast‑paced environments.

Description
The Assistant Project Manager will support all phases of healthcare construction, including planning, procurement, scheduling, and field coordination. Responsibilities include assisting the PM with budget tracking, RFI/submittal management, change orders, subcontractor oversight, and ensuring compliance with healthcare codes, infection control (ICRA), and safety standards. Candidates should demonstrate experience with commercial or healthcare projects, strong communication skills, proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software, and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and hospital stakeholders.

Profile
A strong candidate brings 2-5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction, a solid understanding of project documentation, and the ability to support both field and office operations. They're organized, proactive, comfortable in active hospital environments, and eager to grow into a full Project Manager role.
