The Senior Project Manager will oversee large, complex custom home and estate projects, serving as the primary leader from preconstruction through closeout. Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead full project lifecycle for large custom homes and estates
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, cost control, and project financials
  • Oversee schedules, milestones, procurement, and long‑lead items
  • Direct subcontractors, site teams, craftsmen, and specialty trades
  • Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and owners
  • Conduct site walks, QA/QC reviews, and resolve field issues proactively
  • Manage OAC meetings, progress reviews, and detailed documentation
  • Ensure all work meets luxury‑grade standards and architectural intent
  • Drive compliance with local codes, permitting, and building requirements
  • Represent the company professionally with high‑end clientele

Profile

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

  • 8-15+ years of experience managing luxury custom home or estate projects
  • Proven background leading multi‑million‑dollar residential builds
  • Deep knowledge of high‑end materials, finishes, structural systems, and trades
  • Ability to manage complex scopes with multiple consultants and high-detail design
  • Strong financial acumen: budgets, buyout, cost tracking, risk management
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing capabilities
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
  • Strong leadership style with the ability to mentor APMs and PE-level staff
  • Experience working in Connecticut and/or New York residential environments
  • Highly professional, organized, and capable of balancing multiple priorities
