The Associate Superintendent is in charge of assisting with or planning a construction project, ensuring that it is finished in a quality manner, on schedule, and within budget. They also develop and maintain a positive company reputation with the design-build construction team, the client, and the community.

Our client is a commercial real estate development, construction and design firm with offices and projects across the United States. The Denver location focuses on multifamily and large industrial projects.

Description

• Run/manage project from start to finish
• Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
• Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
• Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
• Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

Profile

• High School diploma or equivelant.
• Additional construction-related courses of a vocational or technical nature helpful
• 3-5 years of experience in the construction of large multifamily and industrial buildings. Tilt up/ tilt wall experience preferred.
• Carpentry background not necessary, but helpful
• Computer abilities to do scheduling and planning. (Word, Excel at a minimum)
• Familiarity with the design/build process and ability to coordinate many people and activities involved in construction according to plan and design intent. (preferred)
