A Memphis‑based GC is seeking a Travelling Superintendent to oversee ground‑up and interior commercial projects across the region. This role is ideal for a seasoned field leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys managing diverse project types, and is comfortable travelling for the duration of each job. You'll be the primary on‑site authority ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor performance.

A well‑established and reputable general contractor headquartered in Memphis, known for delivering high‑quality commercial construction projects throughout the Southeast. The company offers strong operational support, a stable backlog, and an environment where travelling superintendents are valued and well‑resourced.Description
- Oversee all on‑site activities for travelling commercial projects
- Manage subcontractors, daily operations, inspections, and project scheduling
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers and internal teams
- Lead jobsite meetings and maintain detailed progress reporting
- Ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery within budget
Profile
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC
- Experience in ground‑up or interior commercial construction
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally for extended project durations
- Strong track record managing schedules, subcontractors, and jobsite safety
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
