Key Responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple projects from pre‑construction through close‑out, reporting directly into senior operations leadership and working closely with field teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and execution of commercial and public‑sector construction projects
- Managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships from award to completion
- Overseeing procurement, contract administration and change management
- Partnering closely with Superintendents to ensure site operations align with programme and quality expectations
- Acting as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and repeat business
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements, including government standards where applicable
- Supporting and mentoring junior Project Managers as the business continues to scale
Profile
The Successful Applicant
For the Senior Project Manager role, we are seeking:
- 8-10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Proven background delivering projects for municipal, state or public‑sector clients
- Federal construction experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and project profitability
- Confident leadership style with the ability to operate independently without micromanagement
- Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Experience working in a growing contractor environment where adaptability is key
