EHS Specialist
The position is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health & Safety activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization. It oversees daily EHS operations, audits, reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to protect employees and the environment.

Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct workplace safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate safety measures into operations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance measures.
- Stay updated on changes to EHS regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
- Support the development of sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Environmental Sciences.
- Strong communication skills with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ISO14001, OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations.
- Ability to train across all organizational levels, work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience implementing and managing EHS programs in engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with teams.
