Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join a prominent construction firm in the Lehigh Valley, PA, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project plans, and ensuring cost-efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Description

• Develop and prepare cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

• Analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine accurate cost predictions.

• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.

• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to monitor progress and ensure projects stay within budget.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks or cost overruns during the project lifecycle.

Profile

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a construction estimator.

• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques.

• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
