Remote and Traveling Project Manager - Multifamily Renovations

This Project Manager will lead renovation projects within the affordable housing space, starting with a project in Maryland and progressing to larger‑scale work across the East Coast. Description

The Traveling Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing renovation projects from pre‑construction through close‑out, with a focus on quality, schedule, and cost control
• Leading contract management activities including scope writing, schedule of values, change management, and contract administration
• Overseeing RFIs, submittals, and Procore documentation to ensure accurate and timely communication
• Facilitating and leading OAC meetings, coordinating with owners, consultants, and subcontractors
• Traveling to project sites as required, with an initial on‑site presence that tapers as projects stabilize

Profile

A successful Traveling Project Manager should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or experienced Assistant Project Manager on renovation projects
• Proven experience managing renovation work (multifamily or affordable housing experience not required)
• Strong background in contract management, including SOVs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Proficiency with Procore construction management software
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and occasionally to Maryland for meetings
