Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent will oversee all on-site activities for high-end residential gut renovation projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires managing subcontractors, coordinating daily field operations, maintaining schedule and budget adherence, and collaborating closely with all stake holders throughout the construction process.

Description

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for high-end residential gut renovation projects.

• Manage daily jobsite operations, sequencing, and coordination of trades.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of craftsmanship.

• Maintain strict quality control and enforce safety policies and procedures.

• Communicate proactively with project managers, subcontractors, design teams, building management, and owners' representatives.

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to execute work efficiently.

• Maintain organized and detailed field reports, logs, and documentation.

Profile

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

• 7-15+ years of experience in construction, with a strong background in luxury residential renovations in NYC.

• Proven track record managing complex gut renovations with premium finishes.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and field staff effectively.

• Deep understanding of NYC building codes, DOB procedures, and site safety requirements.

• Ability to problem-solve in real time and maintain exceptional client service standards.

• OSHA 30 required; Site Safety Supervisor card a strong plus.
