Our client is a design-build General Contractor with a strong presence in the Columbus market, specializing in large-scale data center construction. In addition to their work in mission-critical facilities, they operate across multiple sectors and continue to grow their project portfolio.

They are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee complex builds and play a key role in delivering high-performance projects. The company offers strong compensation, a supportive culture, and direct access to senior leadership.

Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Acting as the primary on-site leader coordinating day-to-day construction activities
• Managing relationships with owners, architects, and engineers
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, including critical path planning
• Enforcing safety programs and ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards
• Managing subcontractors, labor coordination, and overall site logistics
• Overseeing quality control and ensuring all work meets contract documents
• Resolving field issues related to design, scheduling, labor, and materials
• Coordinating across all trades to maintain project flow and alignment
• Reviewing and approving mock-ups and testing procedures
• Supporting budget tracking and project cost control efforts
• Assisting with billing processes, including WIP and subcontractor payments
• Communicating project updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Supporting design changes and ensuring proper implementation in the field

Profile

The Lead Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent on large-scale construction projects
• Experience with hyperscale data centers, complex industrial, or large commercial builds
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site management
• Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex job sites
• Experience managing multiple trades and coordinating large project teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage project schedules and maintain financial awareness
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred

Job Offer

$125,000 - $150,000 base salary
