Project Manager - Commercial

My client is seeking a Commercial Project Manager in Indianapolis to lead ground-up and renovation projects across sectors like retail, commercial, and industrial going into 2026! You will be working directly with the Project Executive to successfully lead high profile commercial projects. The plan for this individual is to quickly move into a leadership/executive level role. The role is strictly due to growth, not turnover!

Description

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and closeout.
  
  
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while leading on‑site teams to maintain quality and safety.
  
  
• Oversee contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using project management software to track progress and resolve issues.
  
  
• Coordinate with estimating and procurement during preconstruction, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance.
  
  
• Spearhead an impressive pipeline of work vlaued at $500M+

Profile

The Project Manager will have:

• 5-10+ years of commercial construction project management experience with ground‑up and renovation work across multiple sectors
  
• Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor oversight, client coordination, and project management software (Procore, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, permitting, and construction processes; background in estimating or field supervision preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is ideal.
