Description
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of development assets, seeing them through construction and then stabilization, ensuring optimal performance and profitability. Projects range from $50 million to $450 million and biased towards LIHTC and Section 8, affordable housing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to align with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present reports on asset performance to senior management.

Profile
A successful Development Asset Manager should have:
- Must have Section 8 or LIHTC affordable housing experience, ideally tenant in place
- Will have good CAPEX, capital improvement project experience and an eye for design and construction
- Must have experience managing tenant, property management and investor relations, driving excellence
- Experience in the property industry, particularly in asset management and development.
- Strong analytical skills with a background in financial modelling and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of the Brooklyn and New York property market is a plus.
