The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, estimates, and bid proposals for ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $2M-$20M

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids

• Collaborate closely with Preconstruction Managers and Senior Estimators to strategize on approach and pricing

• Manage and support Assistant Estimators, providing mentorship and oversight as needed

• Lead communication with subcontractors and vendors to solicit pricing and ensure scope coverage

• Utilize BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and Procore to manage all estimating workflows

• Participate in internal handoff meetings with project management and field teams

• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes

• Maintain a strong understanding of current market trends, material pricing, and labor conditions

Profile

The Construction Estimator will possess:

• 3+ years as an estimator

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Experience in sectors such as retail, hospitality, life sciences, auto dealerships, or commercial projects

• Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously

• Based in or able to commute regularly to Beverly, MA (in-office role)

• A team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow within a reputable and expanding firm

Job Offer
