The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, estimates, and bid proposals for ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $2M-$20M
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids
Collaborate closely with Preconstruction Managers and Senior Estimators to strategize on approach and pricing
Manage and support Assistant Estimators, providing mentorship and oversight as needed
Lead communication with subcontractors and vendors to solicit pricing and ensure scope coverage
Utilize BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and Procore to manage all estimating workflows
Participate in internal handoff meetings with project management and field teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes
Maintain a strong understanding of current market trends, material pricing, and labor conditions
Profile
The Construction Estimator will possess:
- 3+ years as an estimator
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in sectors such as retail, hospitality, life sciences, auto dealerships, or commercial projects
Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Based in or able to commute regularly to Beverly, MA (in-office role)
A team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow within a reputable and expanding firm
Job Offer
The Construction Estimator will receive:
- Compensation up to $155,000 (dependant on experience)
