Project Manager - Family Owned General Contractor

Description
- Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project scope and specifications are met.
- Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial control against the approved budget.
- Oversee site progress and ensure milestones are achieved according to the project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, permits, and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Review contracts, manage procurement, and ensure subcontractor performance and deliverables meet project requirements.
Profile
- 3+ years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Track record of leading commercial, education, or industrial builds
- Estimating capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Construction management degree is a plus but not required
