Estimator/Project Manager
In need of an estimator/project manager to lead major public works and heavy civil projects in Greater Philly.
Client Details
A third generation, family owned general contracting company, successfully delivering heavy highway and civil projects in the Delaware Valley for the last 70 years.
Description
Manage projects from bid award through completion, owning full P&L responsibility
Oversee schedules, budgets, invoicing, timesheets, and material take-offs
Coordinate with builders, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades to keep projects on track
Handle change orders, pre-construction meetings, and daily site activities
Ensure all documentation and reporting is accurate and timely
Profile
7+ years in heavy civil construction, focusing on public works, highways, and site development
- Experience in estimating/pre-construction AND project management
Experience with demolition, excavation, underground utilities, site concrete, and asphalt paving
Familiarity working in Philadelphia is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS (HeavyBid), Agtek, and Primavera P6 preferred
Bachelor's degree and negotiated project experience a bonus
