Estimator/Project Manager

In need of an estimator/project manager to lead major public works and heavy civil projects in Greater Philly.

Client Details

A third generation, family owned general contracting company, successfully delivering heavy highway and civil projects in the Delaware Valley for the last 70 years.

Description

• Manage projects from bid award through completion, owning full P&L responsibility

• Oversee schedules, budgets, invoicing, timesheets, and material take-offs

• Coordinate with builders, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades to keep projects on track

• Handle change orders, pre-construction meetings, and daily site activities

• Ensure all documentation and reporting is accurate and timely

Profile

• 7+ years in heavy civil construction, focusing on public works, highways, and site development

• Experience in estimating/pre-construction AND project management

• Experience with demolition, excavation, underground utilities, site concrete, and asphalt paving

• Familiarity working in Philadelphia is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS (HeavyBid), Agtek, and Primavera P6 preferred

• Bachelor's degree and negotiated project experience a bonus
