Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a dynamic General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale. The role will focus on restaurant, retail, office space, and affordable housing projects, offering growth opportunities and hands-on project experience.

Description
Assist the Project Manager with overall project coordination, scheduling, and budgeting
Support preconstruction activities including subcontractor solicitation and bid analysis
Track project progress, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Prepare and manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure seamless execution
Provide on-site support as needed to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
Profile
2-4 years of experience in commercial construction as an APM or Project Engineer
Previous experience with restaurant, retail, office space, or affordable housing projects
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support the project team in a fast-paced environment
Job Offer
