Quality Engineer- Michigan- Manufacturing
This is a hands-on role requiring cross-functional coordination with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive both compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

A growing organization in the advanced manufacturing space is seeking a skilled professional to join its operations team. This individual will focus on ensuring that outgoing deliverables align with internal benchmarks, industry standards, and client expectations. This is a hands-on role requiring cross-functional coordination with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive both compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Description
- Monitor outgoing production for adherence to internal and external specifications and schedules.
- Drive optimization of inspection methods and tools for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead structured improvement efforts targeting product and process nonconformities.
- Oversee and support issue resolution systems, including investigation reviews and stakeholder responses.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer and training activities.
- Manage schedules related to precision equipment verification and upkeep.
- Participate in internal evaluations and external assessments to support organizational readiness.
- Review and assess inspection records and ensure alignment with defined technical criteria.
- Revise procedural documentation as needed based on identified improvement opportunities or external feedback.
- Provide hands-on inspection support during peak production cycles.
Profile
- Degree in a technical discipline related to manufacturing or engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality-related, process-driven technical role.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation and specification interpretation.
- Demonstrated experience in formal review processes and system-based evaluations.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a proactive mindset.
- Proficient in general productivity tools and technical documentation platforms.
