Job Requirements of Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction:
Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Participate in interviews and respond to RFPs to secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare competitive bids for upcoming projects.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope, specifications, and deliverables.
Reach out to subcontractors to gauge interest and secure participation in projects.
Review final plans and cost estimates with the Project Manager and Estimator before submission.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly project review reports and drive profitable, on-time project delivery.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and RFIs with the project team.
Conduct final walkthroughs with the Owner and Architect, gather all closeout documentation, and confirm punch list completion.
Maintain post-construction client relations through 6-month check-ins and 11-month warranty walkthroughs to address any remaining issues.
2-5 years of Assistant Project Management experience, commercial experience is a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
Team player with a positive and driven attitude
Has interest to estimate change orders, pay apps, etc.
but does not need to be able to bid projects from scratch.
Strong written and oral communication skills
The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
Desire to further career as a Project Manager

Profile
- 2-5 years of Assistant Project Management experience, commercial experience is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
- Team player with a positive and driven attitude
- Has interest to estimate change orders, pay apps, etc. but does not need to be able to bid projects from scratch.
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- OSHA certified
Job Offer
- Base salary of $75,000-$95,000 depending on the level of experience
