The Superintendent will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams in the construction industry.

Description

  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including labor, materials, and project progress.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address any concerns promptly.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and available for use on site.
  • Support the team in achieving project goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • A strong background in the construction industry, with hands-on experience managing projects valued at $10M+.
  • Experience managing projects in the commercial, education, and/or healthcare spaces.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
