The Director of Sales will lead a team of 3-5 account managers to drive across 90M regional business within the Personal Care industry.

This individual will report directly into the VP of Personal Care and play a pivotal role in shaping the division's sales strategy and rebuilding a high-performing, customer-centric team.

The company is seeking a Director of Sales - Personal Care to lead its North American commercial team and drive growth across a ~$90M regional business. This individual will report directly into the VP of Personal Care and play a pivotal role in shaping the division's sales strategy and rebuilding a high-performing, customer-centric team.Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a team of 3-5 Account Managers across North America, fostering accountability, coaching, and commercial excellence.
- Drive growth across strategic and key accounts through both new business development and value-based selling.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance management to ensure accuracy and discipline.
- Partner closely with R&D and marketing to deliver customized, formulation-based technical solutions.
- Strengthen collaboration, pipeline visibility, and cross-functional communication across regions.
- Play a key role in transforming the team from a transactional to a consultative, value-driven sales organization.
- This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to directly influence commercial strategy, organizational culture, and long-term growth within one of the company's most dynamic global segments.

Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 8-10+ years of sales experience within personal care, home care, or specialty ingredients markets.
- Proven success leading a commercial or account management team (3+ direct reports).
- Strong business acumen, forecasting discipline, and experience driving profitable growth.
- Technical understanding of formulations and R&D collaboration; a chemistry or technical background is a plus.
- A hands-on, 'change agent' mindset-able to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and elevate team performance.
