Construction Superintendent - Traveling
The Project Superintendent will directly oversee all onsite processes with regards to the retail construction projects in the company portfolio. These projects involve convenience stores, oil change outlets, and restaurants across the Southeast.
Locations: Gulf Coast and Southeast U.S.

This client has been in business for over 20 years, however they have remained a smaller General Contractor on purpose, maintaining a low overhead and high margin approach to projects. That being said, they have recently implemented a strategic growth plan allowing for additional project intake, and requiring the addition of new Superintendents and Project Managers.
With $40M in yearly revenue currently, and a goal of hitting $100M annually by 2030, they are bidding new work and project sizes and plan to scale the business to new heights.

Description
Traveling Superintendent Duties:
- Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
- Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
- Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
- Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers
- Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
- Maintain OSHA requirements
- Mentor less experienced construction professionals
- Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor
- Travel required
Profile
Qualified Traveling Superintendent qualifications:
- Ground Up Commercial Construction project experience
- Retail / Automotive experience is most desirable but not required
- Technical Savvy individual - Procore experience is a huge plus
- Strong Reputation for working well with Subcontractors
- Ability to create strong relationships with clients
