Senior Business Development Manager - Construction
Lead strategic growth initiatives by identifying and securing high-value commercial construction opportunities in the New Jersey market. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while collaborating internally to drive revenue and elevate our regional presence.

Description
Cultivate and manage relationships with architects, developers, facility owners, and industry stakeholders to generate a robust pipeline of commercial projects.
Lead all business development activities-from market research and lead generation to proposal development and contract negotiations.
Collaborate closely with Estimating, Pre‑Construction, and Project teams to build compelling, cost-effective proposals and ensure smooth transitions to project execution.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and forge new partnerships.
Track, analyze, and report on market trends, competitor activity, and business development metrics to inform strategic planning.
Coach internal teams on sales best practices and support continuous improvement in client-facing processes
Profile
7+ years of business development or sales experience within commercial construction or related professional services.
Proven track record of securing and managing commercial construction contracts, particularly in markets like healthcare, education, retail, religious facilities, and corporate interiors (highly preferred).
Deep network of industry contacts (architects, owners, GCs, subcontractors) within Northern New Jersey and neighboring regions.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to understand complex scopes and translate them into win‑ready strategies.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, with demonstrated capabilities in sales pipeline management, CRM usage, and data‑driven decision‑making
