The Quality Manager at our client will lead quality assurance and control initiatives to ensure raw plastic materials consistently meet rigorous industry and customer standards. This role will drive continuous improvement across production processes, working cross-functionally to uphold certifications and deliver superior product reliability.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO and other relevant certifications.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product consistency.
  • Manage quality control processes including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
  • Train and support staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Work directly with clients and regulatory bodies to address quality-related inquiries, documentation, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all quality assurance activities.
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and raw materials to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to reduce defects and non-conformities.
  • Support product development projects by advising on quality requirements and risk mitigation strategies.

Profile

  • ISO 9001 Auditing/ QMS experience
  • Plastics Background
  • Plastics Testing Experience
  • A successful candidate for the Quality Manager role will be a results-driven professional with a strong background in quality assurance within the plastics or manufacturing industry. They will possess a deep understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and statistical process control (SPC), coupled with hands-on experience in leading audits, managing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions effectively. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential, as the role requires close collaboration across departments and direct engagement with suppliers and customers. A flexible mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality and compliance will distinguish the ideal candidate.
