Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates on potential cost variances.
• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings to clarify project requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of cost information and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• Estimator with 8+ years of experience working on ground up projects $20M+
• Estimator with a 'go-getter', hardworking, team-oriented personality
• A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to develop precise cost estimates.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
