Senior Project Manager - Brooklyn, NY - Construction
Client Details
Our client is a mid‑sized commercial interiors general contractor with a strong reputation in the NYC market. They specialize in office, tenant improvement, retail, and specialty interior buildouts and are known for their repeat clientele, strong leadership team, and collaborative culture.Description
- Lead commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Manage schedules, budgets, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Drive project strategy, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and on‑time delivery.
- Mentor junior PMs and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes.
Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Extensive experience managing commercial interior construction projects in NYC.
- Strong understanding of interior sequencing, finishes, millwork, and MEP coordination.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client‑facing capabilities.
- Proactive, detail‑driven, and comfortable taking full ownership of projects.
