Corporate Associate, Startup and Venture Capital
A corporate associate role advising startups, venture capital investors, and emerging companies. The position involves hands‑on transactional work with growing technology and life sciences businesses.

Description
- Advise clients on corporate governance, structuring, and compliance matters.
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including financing and investment documents.
- Support startups and venture capital firms in various stages of growth and investment.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored legal solutions to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the professional services sector.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on equity and debt financing matters.
- Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- 3+ years of experience in a sophisticated corporate practice
- Focus on startup, venture capital, or emerging company work
- Interest in technology and/or life sciences companies
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Prior law firm experience required; in‑house candidates considered with prior firm experience
- Bar admission or eligibility in the relevant jurisdiction
