Scrum Master

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team in the Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will lead Agile project management initiatives within the Technology department and support the team in delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and track project progress to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove impediments and drive continuous improvement.
• Support product owners in maintaining and refining product backlogs.
• Promote Agile best practices and principles across the organization.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and effective communication within the team.
• Identify and address risks and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members regarding Agile methodologies.

Profile

A successful Scrum Master should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ years' experience in Azure DevOps/MS Team Foundation Server
• Experience in a software development environment, particularly with Agile project management and Scrum.
• Familiarity with the retail banking domain and geographic information systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively lead teams.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges within projects.
