The Senior Associate, Alternatives Finance role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial management and reporting processes within a strong financial services firm. Client Details

The hiring company is a well-established, medium-sized organization in the financial services industry.

Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements for various funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual fund performance reports.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to support the audit process and address inquiries.
  • Monitor and reconcile fund cash flows and capital activity, including investor contributions and distributions.
  • Support fund valuation processes and ensure accurate reporting of investments.
  • Analyze fund performance metrics and provide insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve fund-related accounting systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

Profile

A successful Senior Associate, Alternatives Finance should have:

  • A strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting standards and fund accounting principles.
  • Solid understanding of fund structures and operations within the financial services industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
