Senior Project Manager - General Contractor
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mid- to large-scale construction projects. This role demands strong leadership, technical know-how, risk management expertise, and a dedication to client-centered excellence.

My client is one of the largest commercial construction managers, design-builders, and general contractors in the Mid‑Atlantic. Description
- Lead projects across conceptual development, preconstruction, execution, and close-out phases.
- Partner with clients early-on approximately 80% of projects-to bring the company's expertise to the table from day one.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor and control financials to ensure profitability.
- Manage and mentor multifunctional teams (e.g., estimating, design, field staff, subcontractors).
- Ensure projects meet safety, compliance, quality, and sustainability goals.
- Facilitate BIM/Virtual Design & Construction integration with support from the in‑house BIM team
- Align with 'Green Team' on sustainability and LEED-certified project initiatives.
- Mitigate and manage risks proactively; maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
- Serve as primary client liaison, fostering collaboration and transparent communication.
- Support business development through proposal development and strategic client relationships.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years in construction project management, preferably in one or more of the company's key sectors (e.g., industrial, healthcare, labs, office interiors).
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience handling multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and innovation-aligned with company values.
- Proficient in construction technologies (e.g. BIM, VDC tools) and software.
- Exceptional client management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
